I'm a huge, huge fan of Anastasia Beverly Hills products. I don't think I'll even consider using another brand to draw on my eyebrows - nothing compares, in my opinion. With both the DipBrow Pomade and the Brow Wiz being a firm rotating favourites in my beauty routine, the much thicker Brow Definer did offer some reluctance to me in the very beginning.

Much like its previous counterparts, the Brow Definer is available in vast range of shades. I actually went for a shade lighter than I usually do. I'm a Medium Brown in both the Brow Wiz and DipBrow Pomade but I decided to buy the Brow Definer in Soft Brown instead, and I really like it. It's such a lovely natural shade and I think I prefer it. I'm definitely reaching for the Definer much more than any other brow product at the moment. I also really like that it has the retractable pencil one end and then a thicker spoolie brush on the other end so you can groom your brows as you go - very handy to pop in your makeup bag, too.

I've found that what is fabulous about this definer is that it can be used in different ways. The angled pencil has a unique triangular tip so you can style your brows however you wish, using certain angles.

Thin - Use the sharpest point of the tip to create fine, hair-like strokes.
Medium - Use the back side of the pencil to create thicker, hair-like strokes.
Wide - Use the pencil on its side to create broad strokes.

I tend to go for the latter because I love the look of full thick eyebrows, and as you can probably tell, I don't have naturally luxurious babies so I need all the help I can get. Cue the over-plucking as a teenager complaints... Honestly, my natural brows are so short, I hate teenager me for putting adult me through this!

So yes, my initial reluctance to try the Definer has been completely blown out of the water. I now use this more than any other eyebrow product. I really like it and I would definitely consider a repurchase.

Have you tried the ABH Brow Definer? I'd love to know your thoughts!

The Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer retails at £16, and is available from Beauty Bay and Cult Beauty.

  1. Can't believe how gorgeous you are! And the eyebrow pencil looks fab. Personally, I just use a brow tint/gel because mine are so thick, but I do know how incredible ABH is!
