BEST WISHES FOR 2016

Long time, no blog, eh?

Let me just start off by saying Happy New Year, lovelies! I know, it's a bit late, but I've been so busy working these past few months (all over Christmas and New Year, sob sob) that I've barely had an online presence. And yes, it's yet another apology for completely neglecting my blog pretty much all of last year. So much has happened in my personal life that I just wasn't really feeling it at all... But I've definitely missed the blogging community, and of course all your lovely comments and interactions both on here and on various social media.

I didn't think I would be making any resolutions this year because, let's be honest, these things don't stick around past February unless you're super committed. I mean, I could reel off a whole list of things that I would like to change about myself but we all know it will go nowhere in the long run. And I'm definitely not going to vow to blog more because that one bit me in the butt last year, haha! However in the past few days I've decided on two things. One; I'm going to stop messing around with complete fuckboys after several quite hurtful experiences over the past six months. The less said about this one, the better... And leading onto that - Two; I'm going to make me happy. Haha, I know I sound like Ross from Friends when I say that but I think that 2016 is going to be the year of self-love. I'm going to make it my mission to do all the things that make me happy, say yes to more opportunities, visit more places, make more time for the people I love and, above all, I'm going to pick myself up, dust myself off, dismiss 2015 as a crap year and be happy with who I am.

I'm sorry that this post has turned into a bit of a personal rant! Life can just be so frustrating sometimes and I want to get all these demons out so I can truly start afresh. I hope I am able to blog more now though, I'll try hard to make the time as I do really miss everything about it!

That just leaves me to say that I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year, and I wish you all the best for 2016 and beyond! Let's make it a good'un - god knows some of us are due one!

  2. Happy New year, although late, to you also. :)
I think some of the main resolutions we can make as humans, is to continue living. Be healthy and happy. So, good luck to you. Sometimes we need the bad to appreciate the good. So enjoy yourself. :)
