The Sunday Edit #5

It's been a while since I've written a Sunday Edit, but that's mostly because I feel like I round up my past month in my Instagram posts so there's not really much need to tell you what I'm getting up to. To be honest, not much is ever going on! Apart from the mundane daily activities which revolve around work; the diminishing light meaning that taking blog photographs proves frustrating; and having no time or money to get organised and do my Christmas shopping... Ahhh, such is life!

So instead let's all just chill out and just talk about Sunday as a whole. After all, it is my favourite day of the week. I work Saturdays so I'm up at 6am (worst morning person ever) and I guess that basically means that I can allow Sunday to be my ultimate lazy day. I love to wake up when I want in my lovely cosy marshmallow bed, knowing I don't have to do anything. A cup of tea - and perhaps a danish pastry - later, I'm either checking my emails and social media or watching a bit of Netflix to pass the time before lunch. Mum always makes the most delicious roast dinners on Sundays, no expense spared. I think that's one of the reasons I love Sundays. Eating a roast dinner always reminds me of my childhood, probably because it was as traditional then as it is now for our family. The afternoon is always equally lazy. We tend to take the dog on a long walk through the countryside before it gets dark, watch awful television, and curl up with a blanket in front of the fire with copious amounts of tea - lovely! In the evening I always opt for a bubble bath and paint my nails, then I catch the blogger chats on Twitter before settling down in front of the television until it's time to set the alarm for the week ahead.

I seriously live for nothing days!

What do you guys get up to on Sundays?

  5. Sundays are the best! I work Saturdays, too, along with school. So Sundays is the only day I get to sit and relax. Slow mornings and manicures are a must. ;D

  6. The theme of this post is really funny, because when I saw the image it just screamed "the perfect sunday" to me before I'd even clicked in or read the title. Sunday has to be one of my favourite days of the week as well, I always feel so zen!
