Philosophy Snow Angel

"Snow angels come to call during the happiest season of all. The warmth of their glow and joyful sound bring love and peace to those around. Snow angels sprinkle sweetly fallen snow from the night sky, as they hover in the clouds watching over you and I. Their kiss so sweet, their hearts filled with joy, they bring holiday cheer to every girl and boy."

Now that it's November it's perfectly okay to mention that festive C-word, right? Well, for once I would love to wake up on Christmas morning and look out my window to a vast blanket of fresh white snow. I don't think that's too much to ask! Until then I'll settle for snowy concoctions in the form of beauty products, and my go-to scent for the colder months has got to be something equal parts sweet and fresh.

Philosophy's Snow Angel body lotion and shower gel give off such a gorgeous scent when massaged in that it's as if snow angels themselves are dancing daintily across your skin. The shower gel/bubble bath has a beautifully pearlescent sheen, lathers nicely, and can double up as shampoo as well. The body lotion is rich and creamy, and sinks into the skin very well. Having said that, I wouldn't replace it with your regular moisturiser in Winter but it definitely works as a go-between and helps the scent of the shower gel to linger for much longer!

Overall I love Philosophy as a brand. They never disappoint on their products and the packaging is always so simple yet sophisticated. These two bottles brighten up my bathroom to no end, almost like Jack Frost has left me a little Christmas cheer!

Have you tried any Philosophy products? What are your favourites?

The body lotion and the shower gel both retail at £14, and are available from the Philosophy website.

  1. This isn't a scent that I can "visualise" which makes me want to smell it all the more! I definitely need to keep my eye out for these.

  2. These look beautiful! I love the pearly colour of them. I bet they smell amazing too! I know what you mean about not swapping normal moisturisers for ones like these as they just aren't as thick. But I would definitely use it to maintain the scent! x

    1. Yeah, I feel like you can pass it off as a "transitional" scent. It's the perfect excuse to use it in October/November that way, haha! Xx

  8. I actually adore Philosophy! I use loads of their skincare and bath products. Hope in a jar is an brilliant day moisturizer (if you can ignore the smell, which I dont mind). They also bring out lovely festive shower gels with spicey scents which is a nice alternative to all the floral scents out there!
