NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser

NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser - £28.00

I've been really impressed with NARS products as of late, so much so that when I went online to order some more Sheer Glow foundation I noticed their tinted moisturiser and instantly added it to my basket.

NARS Pure Radiant tinted moisturiser does exactly what it says on the tin, so to speak. It is infused with lush naturally derived ingredients which immediately helps thirsty skin feel hydrated when applied. The product also contains natural polysaccharides which aid the hydration, condition and help encourage natural cell renewal. It has been proven to help reduce the appearance of discolouration and dark spots caused by hyperpigmentation for a clearer and brighter complexion in four weeks. Oil-free and luxurious, it also obscures the appearance of lines, wrinkles, pores and other imperfections. Not only this but the SPF 30 adds a translucent veil of protection from UVA/UVB rays.

There are 9 shades to choose from, depending on your skin tone:
  • Finland - Lightest, with a neutral balance of pink and yellow.
  • Alaska - Light, with a neutral balance of pink and yellow undertones.
  • St. Moritz - Medium, with a neutral yellow undertone.
  • Annapurma - Medium, with a neutral peachy undertone.
  • Cuba - Medium, with a neutral balance of pink and yellow undertones.
  • Malaga - Medium dark, with warm caramel undertones.
  • Seychelle - Medium dark, with golden olive.
  • Martinique - Medium dark, with warm red undertones.
  • Polynesie - Dark, with warm chocolate undertones.

In the Sheer Glow foundation my colour is Mont Blanc which, along with Sibera, is categorised as "light 2"; there are not as many shades for the tinted moisturiser so I decided to get another similar shade which was under the second-lightest category - Alaska.

Alaska is slightly darker than Mont Blanc but, because it is a moisturiser as well as a light coverage foundation, it blends into the skin really easily and evens out the colour in my face whilst still giving me a freshly-tanned yet dewy look. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how it made my skin feel for such a light coverage. I'm glad that my blemishes seem to be minimal at the moment so I can afford to use a product such as this! I have quite dry skin myself so I love this product on top of my regular morning skin routine. It just gives a really lovely healthy colour and applies beautifully with my Real Techniques buffing brush. I also feel like there's no need for powder, unless of course your natural skin type is quite oily, because the idea of a tinted moisturiser is to hydrate the skin and let it breathe whilst having light coverage.

Now onto the price. At £28.00 I would say it is pricey for a tinted moisturiser, however NARS is a high-end cosmetics brand so I'm not really surprised at this. I would definitely purchase this product again - I can see myself wearing this all through the summer months, you know, if we ever get the sun back!

Have you tried NARS tinted moisturiser before? What's your favourite tinted moisturiser on the market?
